APPLIED
How did the component help you understand the foundation of
your topic better? Please include specific examples to
illustrate this.
I was able to see what drugs to
do firsthand to addicts and their families. It helped me with the
understanding of different mental states people enter and the mind altering
affects. Just like drug addicts, serial killers enter a completely different
state of mind. My mentorship as well as internship are part of the narcotics
division so it helps me with my understanding of everything I do at internship.
This experience has also furthered my knowledge within my internship,
which would allow me to have more responsibility at my internship.
